The Snow Angels Fund is a local nonprofit that was created through the collaborative efforts of The Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program, The Courage of Carly Fund and the Holiday Valley Snowsports School. In 2020, the Snow Angels Fund hosted its first annual ski or ride day for children ages 6 to 18 struggling with cancer and their families. This special day at Holiday Valley Resort offers a day of fun on the snow, including beginner ski or snowboard lessons for the children and family members culminating with a slope side cookout. Our goal is to provide this opportunity with no or little cost to the families. Your donation will help to make this fun day a reality.

Each of these children have a beautiful and priceless gift to share with all of us. That gift is their ability to humbly inspire everyone they encounter with their joyful spirit and courage. They are always reminding us that the most precious gifts in life are not the ones we receive with our hands but those we give and accept with our hearts.

The Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program (LASP) is non-profit organization which offers ski lessons to persons with virtually all disabilities, both physical and cognitive. LASP is an all-volunteer program with a staff of approximately 40 specially trained instructors. The focus is always on what a student can do, not on what they can’t.

The Courage of Carly Fund gives children with cancer and blood disorders at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center the fighting chance they all deserve. Providing everything from unforgettable memories and family events to financial support, the Courage of Carly Fund offers hope and a little bit of extra happiness to children, teens and their families.

Holiday Valley Snowsports School is PSIA and AASI Certified. Skiing, snowboarding, cross country and telemark* skiing are taught by instructors who use the National ATM Method, giving consistency with other schools around the country. Our instructors attend continuing education clinics to familiarize themselves with the most recent teaching techniques, equipment innovations and the mental aspects of learning and improving your skiing or riding.
